The most expensive towns and suburbs in Ireland
Addris keeps a page for each of the 254 towns, suburbs and Dublin districts with a real sales record on the Property Price Register. Sort them by what a home actually went for in the last 12 months and the top of the list is Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, at a median of €1,200,000 — 3.2× the Ireland median of €375,000. 2 places have a seven-figure median; 14 sit above €750,000 and 61 above €500,000. 24 of the top 25 are in County Dublin — the exception is the top of the table.

The median is the middle sale of the last 12 months inside the place's box on the Addris map; "change on year" compares it with the 12 months before, and is shown only where that earlier window also had 30+ sales. Each place links to its page — prices by year, schools, transport and the Addris Score.

What it means for a buyer
A high median is not a high price for every home — it says the middle of the market is there. In the places at the top of this table, half of what sold in the last year cost more than the figure shown, and the full spread is on each place's page. The gap to the Ireland median is the number to hold on to: at 3.2× the national figure, Enniskerry is priced like a different country, and the 5-year median in the last column shows whether the last 12 months were unusual or the norm.
Two things the ranking does not do. It does not adjust for what sold — a suburb where large houses changed hands in a given year will read higher than one where apartments did — and it only ranks places with at least 30 sales in the window, so a small, expensive village can be missing rather than cheap.

Method and sources
- Sales: residential sales in the Property Price Register (PSRA), placed on the map by Eircode, street or locality. Register prices are what the buyer declared for stamp duty; new-build prices exclude VAT.
- Places: the towns, suburbs and Dublin postal districts on the Addris town pages, each a box drawn from the addresses on the register. Boxes can overlap — a Dublin district and a suburb inside it both appear.
- Window and floor: the 12 months to the latest register update; only places with at least 30 sales in that window are ranked. The Ireland median is the 2026 year to date.
- Reproducible: every figure is computed from the register as published, and the same number is on each place's page. Data to 2026-09-20.
