County Dublin has the highest median sold price at €476,000 and County Longford the lowest at €200,000; 4 of the 26 counties sit above the Ireland median of €375,000. Roscommon rose fastest on the year (+16.9%).

32 towns and suburbs score 70 or better on the Addris Score for a home buyer and still sell below the Ireland median of €375,000. Finglas West, Co. Dublin leads at 88 out of 100 with a median of €315,000.
- Where the new homes are: the estates and counties selling new builds
789 estates on the register sold almost nothing but new builds in the last five years; Station Walk, Rickardstown, Co. Kildare is the biggest with 261 sales. New builds were 48% of street-level sales and 25% of every sale in Q2 2026.
- Where the most homes changed hands in the last 12 months
54,385 homes were sold in Ireland in the last 12 months. Dublin 15 was the busiest place with 1,459 sales and Drogheda, Co. Louth the busiest outside Dublin; by head of population County Louth sold the most.

2 towns saw their median sold price at least double between 2021 and 2026; Athy, Co. Kildare led at +113.1%. Ireland as a whole went from €262,000 to €375,000, +43.1%.

Of 245 towns with a real sample in both years, 185 rose, 46 fell and 14 stood still. Kanturk, Co. Cork rose fastest (+63.0%); Ballinasloe, Co. Galway fell furthest (-33.7%).

8 of Ireland's 254 largest towns and suburbs still have a median sold price under €200,000 and 20 under €250,000; Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon is the cheapest at €150,000. The Addris Score sits beside every price.

Dublin 14 (D14) is the dearest of Dublin's 31 postal areas at a median of €762,500 and Balbriggan (K32) the cheapest at €336,250 — a 2.3× spread inside one county. 26 areas rose on the year and 5 fell.

Ailesbury Rd, Ballsbridge, Co. Dublin has a five-year median of €5,262,500. 46 streets and estates have a seven-figure median; 2,852 are ranked, and Eagle Valley, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow is the priciest outside Dublin.

Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow tops the list at a median of €1,200,000; 14 of Ireland's 254 largest towns and suburbs have a median above €750,000 and 61 above €500,000, against an Ireland median of €375,000.
